Jon was the pastor of Surfside Newcastle church from 2007-2009. He is married to Ruth and they have two kids; Mark, who is married, and Julie, who lives at home with Ruth and Jon.  Jon loves to surf, play tennis, watch Rugby League, listen to old school rock and eat mangoes. He really enjoys talking with people about Jesus, teaching the Bible and mentoring/training people.

The Nuttalls live in Stockton and started Surfside Stockton church with a small team of people in March, 2010.  This new church hopes to connect with lots of people, introduce them to Jesus, help them grow as his people and serve Jesus and each other with their whole lives.  Jon also pastors a congregation in Wescott Aged Care Facility with the help of a committed team.

Before coming to Surfside/Stockton, Jon worked as a Cable Jointer for Telstra, taught SRE at Canterbury Boys High in Sydney, and then pastored Byron Bay Presbyterian Church. He studied at Sydney Missionary and Bible College and the Presbyterian Theological Centre in Sydney.
