Beck Copland is the Women's  and Children's Pastor.

She is a local girl and loves everything that is Newcastle; having lived in Kahibah, Mayfield, Waratah West, Morpeth and now Wallsend. Beck has attended this Church since 2000.

She is a trained High School Teacher (History/ English/ Geography), graduating from the University of Newcastle in 1994. She has worked at both Port Macquarie and Salamander Bay Christian schools. Beck commenced working full-time at this Church in January 2004, after completing the 1 year Diploma of Bible and Missions course at Moore Theological College, Sydney.

Beck counts it a joy and privilege to be able to serve God in a solid Bible based Church in the Newcastle region. This has been her heart’s desire since she re-committed her life to the Lord at age 17. Beck loves running Christianity Explained courses, which clearly outline the saving gospel message in 6 easy lessons. She also loves teaching kid’s the Bible through scripture and Kid’s Church, plus encouraging women in their Christian walk through Bible teaching conferences, training and one to one meetings (see Women in the Word).
