Stockton Church Plant

New churches can grow quickly and reach out to new people in new areas in ways that older, established churches often don't reach. We have such a new church in mind for the Stockton/Fern Bay region. It is still in the planning stages, so you will need to keep checking us for updates on developments. At this stage, our plan is to start with a small team working at a 3 stage process:

1. Meeting people in the Stockton and Fern Bay region and telling them gospel about Jesus. We are leaning on God to work powerfully through his gospel to bring new people into his Kingdom.

2. Mentoring the new followers of Jesus toward maturity in Jesus, and starting a local homegroup for them as well as welcoming them into the St Philips or Surfside congregations in the short term.

3. Start a new Sunday church service when the new group requires it.

This will form the beginnings of our new venture church. We hope that our new venture church will develop a culture of starting more churches in the region.
